Having successfully handled many substantial jury verdicts and settlements involving personal injury and wrongful death in wrecks, the oil field, and construction accidents, Mr. Nix is a Board Certified specialist experienced in handling serious disabling and permanent injuries and death cases. He has successfully represented people who have been injured or become disabled, and families who have suffered the tragic and unnecessary loss of a loved one in a broad spectrum of cases, including car, 18-wheeler wrecks and motorcycle wrecks, oil field injuries, brain and spinal injuries, amputation, burns, house fires, defective tire and crash worthiness cases, highway and construction site injuries, slip and fall/premises cases, and against drunk and uninsured drivers.

For over 30 years, Mr. Nix has been Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law enjoys an A-V rating, the highest legal and ethical rating given by his peers and the respected legal guide Martindale-Hubbell. He is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, a past president of the East Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and has served on the District 2A Grievance Committee. He received a B.A. degree from Texas Christian University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Houston.

Mr. Nix and his wife Susan have been married 50 years and are proud of their 3 children and 9 grandchildren. They have been active members of the First United Methodist Church of Longview Texas, serving on various committees and boards, as well as being active in other Gregg County volunteer community services.
